Commercial

Transaction & Commission Policy

The commission model TradeGat intends to operate — documented in advance, with no payment processing implemented and thresholds still to be decided.

1. Status of this document

This page documents the commercial model TradeGat intends to operate. It is a proposal, not a live billing system: TradeGat does not currently process payments, invoice commission or settle funds on the platform. Every figure and rule here is subject to final commercial, legal, tax, payment-provider and jurisdictional review, and may change before it is implemented.

2. Standard transaction commission

The commission is 1% of the value of a qualifying completed transaction arranged through TradeGat, split evenly between the buyer and the seller 0.5% each.

There is a single rate. The earlier 3% and 2% tiers are retired and are no longer applied to new transactions.

3. Relationship loyalty commission

After a qualifying first commission-bearing transaction between the same buyer and the same supplier, the next five subsequent transactions in that relationship may be charged at a promotional 1% commission.

  • These are five subsequent transactions — they are not free transactions.
  • It is not retroactive: the first transaction is charged at its normal tier.
  • Loyalty reduces the rate; it never removes the commission.
  • The relationship is identified from the buyer and supplier records on completed transactions.
  • The whole mechanism is subject to final commercial and legal approval.

4. Fees stay separately identifiable

Any future fee presentation keeps these components separate and never collapses them into a single number:

  • Buyer fee
  • Seller fee
  • TradeGat platform commission
  • Payment processing cost charged by the payment provider

Payment processing cost is always shown separately from the TradeGat commission. Taxes and duties are the responsibility of the parties to the transaction.

5. Advertising revenue is separate

Paid placements are billed separately from transaction commission and are governed by the Ad Policy. Advertising spend never affects verification status, Trust Score, organic ranking or review outcomes.

6. Verified, Sponsored and membership are different things

  • Verified — the result of the verification process only. See the Verification & Trust Rules.
  • Sponsored — paid advertising, always labelled as such.
  • Platinum / Gold / Silver — membership or subscription levels. No membership level is offered on TradeGat today; if one is introduced it describes a commercial plan only, and never a verification, trust or ranking advantage.

7. What TradeGat is not

TradeGat, operated by AYA DIGITAL LLC, is not a bank, lender, escrow provider, payment institution, money transmitter or regulated financial institution, and does not hold customer funds. Nothing on this page is an offer of credit, financing or a financial service. TradeGat does not offer or arrange interest-bearing lending, and does not describe any product as Sharia-compliant unless that has actually been reviewed and approved by an appropriately qualified authority.

These are commercial rules, not a contract of sale. They remain subject to final legal, tax, payment-provider and jurisdictional review before any commission is charged.
