TradeGat Ad Policy

Advertising on TradeGat is labelled, reviewed and separated from trust. Interest-bearing financial advertising is not accepted.

1. What TradeGat Business Ads are

TradeGat Business Ads let a registered business promote itself, a product, a trade service or an industry campaign on tradegat.com. Formats are limited to sponsored supplier and product placements, business banners, industry campaigns and trade service promotions.

There is no auction, no bidding, no behavioural targeting and no third-party advertising network. Placements are simple, reviewed and clearly labelled.

2. Advertising never buys trust

Paying for a placement does not grant a verification badge, does not change a Trust Score, and does not improve organic search or ranking anywhere on TradeGat. Verification status is produced only by reviewed evidence.

Sponsored results are displayed in a separate, visibly labelled block. Organic results are ranked by the same rules whether a business advertises or not.

3. Labelling

Every paid placement carries a visible Sponsored label and identifies the business that paid for it. Placements that cannot be labelled are not published.

4. Measurement

Delivery is measured as impressions and clicks, counted per ad and per day. An impression is counted when a placement is actually visible on screen, and a click when its destination is followed. Each browser session counts once per ad per day, so repeated scrolling never inflates a report.

TradeGat stores an anonymous session key only. No IP address, browser fingerprint, cross-site identifier or personal data is recorded, and delivery data is readable only by the advertiser and TradeGat administrators.

5. Budgets, pricing and charges

A campaign is booked with one pricing model: per thousand impressions, per click, or a flat fee for the booked period. The rate and budget are held in the campaign currency and can be changed only while the campaign is draft or paused.

Spend accrues from measured delivery and can never exceed the booked budget. When the budget is reached, or the end date passes, the campaign and its placements stop being served automatically.

Amounts owed are recorded as internal charge lines in the campaign currency. TradeGat does not hold, transmit or settle funds for advertising, because no payment provider is connected.

6. Mandatory review before publication

Ads move through draft → pending review → approved → active. An advertiser can only submit an ad for review. Approval, rejection, pausing and expiry are reviewer actions, enforced in the database, and recorded in the audit log.

Editing the wording, destination or format of an already approved ad returns it to review automatically.

7. Prohibited financial advertising

TradeGat does not accept advertising or transaction-financing offers based on interest-bearing lending. Financial products and services offered through TradeGat must comply with this policy and with applicable law.

Specifically prohibited:

  • Interest-bearing loans, credit lines, overdrafts or purchase financing.
  • Financing structured to disguise interest through fees, mark-ups, penalties or renaming.
  • Attempts to circumvent this policy through wording, abbreviation or translation.
  • Misleading claims about returns, guarantees, approval or cost of finance.

All financial advertising — including insurance, payment services and advisory offers — is automatically flagged and requires human review before it can be published. Advertisers cannot remove the financial flag from their own ad.

No advertisement may describe a product as Sharia-compliant, halal or riba-free unless that claim has been reviewed and certified by a qualified authority, and the certifying body is named.

8. No financial license claims

TradeGat is not a bank, lender, payment institution, money transmitter or escrow provider, and does not hold customer funds. No advertisement may state or imply that TradeGat provides, guarantees or underwrites financing, payment or escrow.

9. Other prohibited advertising

  • Claims of verification, certification or inspection that are not verified on TradeGat.
  • Impersonating another business, brand or authority.
  • Counterfeit, restricted or illegal goods, and anything barred by the Marketplace Rules.
  • Requests to move payment or negotiation off-platform.

10. Enforcement

Ads that breach this policy are rejected or removed, with a written reason. Repeated or deliberate breaches — particularly attempts to disguise interest-based financing or to imply verification — can lead to advertising suspension and a TradeGat Shield risk signal against the business.

Sponsored is not verified. A paid placement tells you a business chose to advertise; only the verification passport tells you what has been checked.
