Verification is layered. A business can be verified at one level and still pending at another — we show exactly which, instead of a single vague "verified" label.

How the Trust Score works
The Trust Score is a 0–100 signal computed from verified evidence and platform behaviour. When there is not enough evidence, we display "Trust Score Pending" rather than guessing.
Verification depth
Which verification levels are complete and current.
Business history
How long the business has operated on and off the platform.
Transaction behaviour
Completed orders, cancellations and delivery reliability.
Communication quality
Response times and completeness of replies to buyers.
Dispute record
Disputes raised, how they were resolved, and repeat patterns.
Documentation consistency
Whether submitted documents remain consistent over time.
Verified, Sponsored and membership are different things
These three labels are often confused on other platforms. On TradeGat they never overlap.
Verified
The recorded result of the verification process. Issued only by TradeGat review, tied to a named source and a review date, and withdrawn automatically when it expires or is suspended.
Sponsored
Paid advertising. Always labelled, shown in a separate block, and never affects verification, Trust Score or organic ranking.
Platinum / Gold / Silver
Membership or subscription levels only. Membership describes a commercial plan and never a trust or verification signal.

Risk scoring
Every account carries a risk level derived from behaviour and documentation consistency.
Fraud detection
Duplicate identities, impossible claims and suspicious pricing patterns are flagged for review.
Dispute resolution
Structured evidence exchange with defined stages, so outcomes are traceable.
